To learn more about me from my other blog http://wlansche.me/author/wlansche/

Does the Internet expand your life?

I would say yes, I have learned a new way to study about the world, through many sites, CNN, all the local news channels websites, and many many more.  It has giving me Food for Thought.  As a young boy, I didn’t learned much and was a poor student through out grade school and High School. I had little support at home. I was judged by my family and peers as someone who wasn’t smart.  So I felt like I was a lost soul, dumb, and a loser.

Well here I am today a somewhat intelligent man, with lots of skills. I was able to repair cars, play sports as a kid and did well enough to be and all-star in baseball as well as football. Never played baseball in H.S. but, played football during my Freshman and Sophomore year. I started every game, played offense and defense and all kicking teams. I was faster than most of the linemen if not the fastest. At that time I was considered to be the larger person on the teams, that includes both sports.  And finally I got into computers and never stopped learning.

I have designed many websites, most of them my own. I have repaired and rebuilt and build computers from the ground up, meaning I brought all the parts and put them together. Brand new computers built my Bill. Then I expanded to helping friends and family, then went on to build a business; BJL Computers. The name has changed a few times, finally settle for BJL Computer Solutions, http://www.bjlcomputersolutions.net

Next, How does face-book change your life?

Very much so, I found old friends I haven’t heard from since 1984, also made new friends. Now before the Internet I ran a BBS Bulletin Board System. Where people call up my BBS and actually used my computer to communicate with other BBS users, and play some games I had downloaded and set up.  Met some great people as well as not so good to be polite. Can’t believe there are so many haters in this world, many lost souls.

All the social website, FB, Twitter, Google+ and some others, has giving me a way to connect to people who will chat with me without judging, at least I think their not judging. I try not too judge them either. Let’s me vent!

I’ve had many adversities in my 65 years on this earth however, I learned how to be a surviver. Many times I had to bootstrap myself. I had to lift my self out of depression, self-doubt, and other adversity. But, through the years I have learned how to express my feelings and opinions. Doesn’t mean I can do all the time, there are times I fall backwards, into an abyss. However, chatting with a friend on social media helps me get back my sanity.
